Natural History: Naturalized Annual Herb.
A annual herb native to Tropical America, but now naturalized worldwide. It grows aggressively on disturbed land and often becomes weedy. Flowers are small yellowish white. Fruits are achene (Flowers of India, 2023).

 

Other Common Names: Black-jack, Cobblers Pegs, Hitch Hikers, Spanish Needle (Flowers of India, 2023).
