Corchorus capsularis (Wynter-Blyth 1957; Kunte 2000; Robinson et al. 2010), Sida rhombifolia (Wynter-Blyth 1957; Kunte 2000; Robinson et al. 2010) (Malvaceae).A subspecies name, Junonia lemonias vaisya (Fruhstorfer, 1912), is sometimes given, which represents infrasubspecific variation.
