Taxonomic Information

This species is also known as the Himalayan Spotted Flat.

Earlier, Celaenorrhinus maculicornis Elwes & Edwards, 1897 - Separated Spotted Flat was treated as a subspecies of C. munda. However, the male genitalia of these two taxa are distinct, so they should be treated as two distinct species.
