This species has been recorded so far from every state and union territory of India, except Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Lakshadweep, Manipur, Nagaland, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Telangana.
This is a common species.
